American Idol

A little over a month ago a "Facebook" friend of mine and I decided we really wanted to go to the American Idol Concert in Nashville! Leah and I had never meet. She is part of the crew that Clark knew from undergrad school at MTSU and seminary. All through the season of Idol we were commenting back and forth giving our 2 since worth. It was fun to have someone that LOVED idol as much as I did! I think if we lived in the same town we would be great friends. We have a lot on common and similar personalities.
It ended up being a super fun night. We started by going to The spaghetti factory on 2nd street. MADNESS! 2nd street is the hub of downtown Nashville. We originally thought we would have to wait an hour for a table but ended up sitting in the "lounge" area and got a table for 2 immediately! SCORE! After great food and great convo we walked 2 blocks to Bridgestone Arena!

**Funny side note. For the past several weeks leading up to the concert I was sure that we would be the only 2 grown women in a sea of screaming teenagers. When we got there. Not only was the place PACKED OUT but there were people there from every walk of life. Little girls and boys to senior citizens.

I am not really a concert person but this one was ROCKIN'! Everyone sounded good! There was dancing and the lights were going crazy! All in all it was super fun!! If the top 11 are great next year I will definitely be going back!!

Lauren and Scotty. So good! Although I will tell you the chemistry wasn't there like it was at the finally.

Ladies and Gentleman - JAMES DURBEN! I am not a rocker fan but I REALLY like him!!
